CME Advisory Committee

The CME Advisory Committee was reconstituted in December 2007 and plays a critical role in the improvement and direction of the NYU PGMS. Specifically, the charge of the CME Advisory Committee is as follows:

• Advise on planning and strategy for the PGMS Office.
• Identify areas of educational gaps/needs and suggest potential PGMS activities that would help close those gaps and fulfill those needs.
• Support PGMS Office initiatives by bringing information to respective departments and mobilizing support among School faculty.
• Review data on PGMS activities and recommend adjustments to process or policies based on this review.
• Approve PGMS Office policies and procedures.
• Assist in analyzing whether PGMS is meeting its stated mission.
• Review the PGMS Mission Statement on an annual basis. Suggest and approve revisions to this Statement, as needed.
